Paul Hernandez State Farm is looking for a driven, experienced Insurance Closer to join our retail sales team.

If you're confident talking with customers, know how to uncover needs, handle objections, and confidently ask for the sale, this could be a great opportunity to put those skills to work.

You'll work with walk-in customers and pre-qualified leads who have already expressed interest in insurance. Your job is to understand what they need, recommend the right coverage, and guide them through the process of becoming a customer.

What You'll Do

• Work with warm, pre-qualified leads and walk-in customers who are actively discussing their insurance needs.
• Build rapport quickly and create a positive customer experience.
• Conduct needs assessments to understand individual and family protection needs.
• Explain and recommend State Farm products, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
• Clearly communicate the value and benefits of recommended coverage.
• Answer questions and address customer concerns with confidence.
• Handle objections and guide conversations toward a successful close.
• Use your product knowledge to provide personalized insurance recommendations.
• Collaborate with the team to create a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer records and efficiently process applications.

• Proven experience in a closing sales role with a track record of success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers.
• A customer-focused approach and genuine desire to help people find the right solutions.
• Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented retail environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Access to a mobile device
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance license
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Life & Health Insurance license

Compensation & Benefits

Full-Time | Onsite | Base + Commission

• Expected earning potential: $17–$25/hour
