Customer Service // Service Advisor

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Counter Sales Representative / Service Advisor to join a busy automotive repair shop. This person will be the first point of contact for customers and will play an important role in providing a positive customer experience from the time they walk through the door.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine the reason for their visit
  
• Listen to customers and gather information about their vehicle concerns or service needs
  
• Create and write up service tickets/work orders
  
• Prepare and explain estimates to customers
  
• Communicate repair and service information clearly and professionally
  
• Enter and maintain customer and vehicle information in the computer system
  
• Answer phones and assist with customer questions
  
• Communicate with technicians regarding customer needs and repair status
  
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process
  
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
  

Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be well-spoken and comfortable communicating with customers
Comfortable using computers and learning/navigating different software programs
Strong attention to detail when preparing tickets and estimates
Able to communicate pricing and repair information clearly
Professional appearance and attitude
Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Automotive or repair shop experience is a plus
