We are hiring a Senior Staff Nurse for our Nursing Home in Co Tipperary. This job is for someone wanting to join a busy, well-established nursing home group.

Responsibilities

Deliver and oversee high-quality, person-centred nursing care.

Lead, supervise, and mentor the care team to ensure best practice.

Provide leadership and support during inspections and audits.

Act as Nurse in Charge, overseeing day-to-day operational management.

Promote a respectful, supportive environment that upholds dignity and wellbeing.

Encourage continuous professional development within the team.

Support management in maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN.
  

• Currently living in Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland.
  

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in nursing homes, older persons’ care, rehabilitation, or acute hospital settings is desirable.
  

• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care practices is advantageous.
  

• Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
  

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and organisational abilities.
  

• Passionate about caring for older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  

• Flexible to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends across a 7-day roster.
