About Fireweave

Fireweave is building an AI Release Engineer for modern software teams — helping engineering organizations understand release risk, blast radius, and rollout safety before code hits production.

About the role

We're looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to help build and harden the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling that Fireweave itself runs on and that our platform uses to safely ship customers' coding-agent changes to production. You'll work closely with the founding engineering team on everything from cloud infrastructure and observability to the integrations that connect Fireweave to customers' CI/CD systems.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants real infrastructure responsibility early, is comfortable operating with some ambiguity, and is excited to help set the operational foundation for a fast-moving 0 to 1 company.

What you'll do

Build and maintain Fireweave's cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
Design and operate integrations with GitHub, CI/CD systems, feature flags, and observability tools
Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response for Fireweave's production systems
Improve build, test, and release pipelines for speed, reliability, and safety
Manage infrastructure-as-code, environment provisioning, and secrets/config management
Work closely with founders and engineers to harden the platform as customer usage grows

Ideal profile

3–6 years of DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience
Strong with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred)
Solid experience with CI/CD systems, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Comfortable owning observability and incident response (metrics, logging, alerting)
Scripting ability in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling
Experience at an early-stage startup, or strong interest in 0 to 1 infrastructure work, is a plus
