JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  
• Licenses: Active Virginia license and DEA required
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
  
• Other Qualifications: Clean file required for privileging; must be able to work with FM residents at Warren Memorial if covering that site
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day rounding coverage at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital (and potentially Warren Memorial Hospital).
  
• Manage admissions and patient care for hospitalist service.
  
• Perform patient rounds, evaluate and treat acute care patients.
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff for patient management.
  
• Participate in EMR training and Valley Health training modules.
