The Opportunity

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance, people and day-to-day operations of JYSK's Ballincollig store.

Working alongside your Deputy Store Manager, you'll create a positive team environment while ensuring the store delivers excellent customer service and strong commercial results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive store performance, achieving sales targets, KPIs and commercial objectives.
  

• Coach and develop your team, encouraging individual growth and high performance.
  

• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor, supporting sales and daily operations.
  

• Deliver an excellent customer experience and ensure the store is consistently ready for trade.
  

• Oversee store operations, ensuring company standards, procedures and routines are maintained.
  

• Manage recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of store colleagues.
  

• Identify opportunities for improvement and take proactive action to achieve results.
  

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident, motivated manager who enjoys a fast-paced environment and knows how to get the best from their team.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous management experience at Deputy Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager level or above.
  

• Proven experience managing teams and delivering results.
  

• A positive, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
  

• A hands-on management style and willingness to get involved in all aspects of store operations.
  

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  

• Commercial awareness with experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
  

• Confidence in decision-making, problem-solving and managing challenges.
  

Retail experience is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced managers in other fast-paced, customer-facing environments with strong transferable skills.

A full driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential. The role is based in Ballincollig, with occasional support to other stores in the area potentially required.
