Reservationist – Luxury Safari Tented Camp | Hazyview, Mpumalanga

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly organised, meticulous and detail-oriented Reservationist to join a luxury safari tented camp in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage a high volume of bookings with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and process guest reservations, ensuring all bookings are captured accurately and handled professionally.
  

• Oversee booking-related administration, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all reservation details are correct.
  

• Coordinate guest transfers and activities, ensuring all arrangements are confirmed and communicated effectively.
  

• Liaise with guests and relevant departments to ensure a seamless booking process and exceptional guest experience.
  

• Monitor booking details and follow up on outstanding confirmations or amendments.
  

• Maintain organised reservation records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a reservations role, preferably within a luxury lodge, safari camp or hospitality environment.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
  

• Experience managing a high volume of reservations independently.
  

• Knowledge of the Innkeeper reservation system will be advantageous.
  

• Strong communication and administrative skills.
  

• A proactive, passionate and reliable approach to work.
  

• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  

Salary and benefits:

• Salary: R12,000 per month.
  

• Accommodation provided.
  

• Meals or a food allowance provided.
  

• Uniform provided.
  

• Work cycle of 22 days on duty, followed by 9 days off.
