Do you play the piano and have a love for sharing music with others?

We are seeking a piano‑playing volunteer to bring joy, comfort, and connection to a lovely elderly lady living in Rathmines.

Our client can no longer play the piano herself, but music still holds a very special place in her heart. She would absolutely love to hear the piano played again—filling her home with familiar melodies, memories, and moments of happiness.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged  • Reference check • Volunteer Training
