We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ILM Expert to lead strategic initiatives in information lifecycle management within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role is designed for a professional with 5.5 to 8 years of specialized experience, tasked with optimizing data governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing system performance through advanced archiving and destruction protocols. The successful candidate will play a critical part in managing data volume, facilitating legacy system transitions, and driving efficiency across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, ensuring that organizational data assets are handled with precision and security throughout their entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute comprehensive Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) strategies tailored to enterprise data requirements.
  
• Configure and maintain SAP Content Server and SAP IQ solutions to support robust data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
  
• Perform deep-dive database optimization and performance tuning to ensure high availability and speed for critical business operations.
  
• Develop and deploy custom archiving objects to meet specific business needs while maintaining data integrity.
  
• Manage the end-to-end decommissioning of legacy systems, ensuring a seamless migration of essential data to modern platforms.
  
• Oversee the complete process of data archiving and secure data destruction in alignment with legal and compliance standards.
  
• Implement data volume management techniques to control storage costs and improve overall system responsiveness.
  
• Provide expert guidance on SAP ECC and S/4HANA integration points related to data lifecycle processes.

• Possess 5.5 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically within the IT Services industry, focusing on SAP technologies.
  
• Demonstrate proven expertise in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  
• Show strong proficiency with SAP Content Server and SAP IQ for content and data management.
  
• Have a track record of successful database optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  
• Experience in designing custom archiving objects and managing complex legacy system decommissioning projects.
  
• Deep understanding of SAP ILM principles, including data retention policies, archiving, and secure destruction workflows.
  
• Skilled in data volume management strategies to optimize storage and performance.
  
• Ability to deliver solutions within the salary range of ₹18-22 LPA, reflecting the seniority and technical depth required for this role.
