- Skilled Nursing Facility: 84 Beds
- EMR System: Meditech
- Support Staff Available: 11-20 Hours of APP Coverage Daily
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Moderate Sedation Competency Required
- Case Logs Required: Previous 2 Years
- CME Documentation Required: Minimum 50 Category I Credits During Previous 2 Years
- Immunization Requirements: Annual Influenza Vaccine, Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, Current Physical Exam, Annual N95 Fit Test, and Titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active New York Nurse Practitioner License or Active New York Physician Assistant License
- Board: Current AANP/ANCC Certification for NPs or NCCPA Certification for PAs
- DEA: Active DEA Registration with New York Address and Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V
- Certifications: ACLS and PALS (AHA)
- Experience: New Graduates Considered; Training Provided
- Other Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited NP or PA Program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Emergency Department Patients
- Perform Emergency Medicine Procedures Within Scope of Practice
- Provide Patient Care in a Community Hospital Emergency Department
- Document Patient Encounters in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing Staff, and Hospital Personnel to Coordinate Patient Care
