Bring history to life, one page at a time.

This lovely elderly lady would greatly enjoy having a volunteer spend time with her, reading aloud and sharing stories. She has a keen interest in Australian history and would love someone to explore this passion with her. We are seeking a female volunteer who speaks English or German and is available on Mondays at 10am for a friendly visit. Your time and companionship could make her day brighter and more engaging.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
