SAP S/4HANA Test Lead - MM & SD

Requirements

• Experienced SAP S/4HANA Test Lead with strong functional expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) to lead testing activities across SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, enhancement, and transformation programs.
  
• End-to-end ownership of test strategy, planning, execution governance, stakeholder management, defect management, and quality assurance across multiple workstreams.
  
• Define and drive the overall SAP testing strategy, test approach, and governance framework.
  
• Lead System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Establish quality gates, entry and exit criteria, testing standards, and reporting mechanisms.
  
• Own test planning, effort estimation, execution tracking, and risk management.
  
• Conduct test status reviews with business and project stakeholders.
  
• Ensure end-to-end testing ownership across multiple workstreams and integration areas.
  
• Provide testing leadership across SAP MM and SAP SD business processes.
  
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs to ensure adequate test coverage.
  
• Ensure comprehensive testing across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  
• Validate integration points between SAP and connected applications.
  
• Ensure testing coverage for procurement, inventory management, sales order processing, pricing, billing, logistics execution, and master data.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for testing-related activities.
  
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, functional consultants, development teams, and program leadership.
  
• Facilitate defect triage meetings, quality reviews, and testing governance sessions.
  
• Provide executive-level testing status reports, quality metrics, and progress updates.
  
• Drive the complete defect lifecycle, from identification through resolution and closure.
  
• Monitor defect leakage, resolution timelines, and overall defect trends.
  
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential quality issues, and define appropriate mitigation plans.
  
• Ensure all testing deliverables meet defined quality standards.
  
• Lead, mentor, and guide functional testers and test analysts.
  
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and workstreams.
  
• Ensure adherence to established testing processes, standards, and best practices.
  
• Support capability development, knowledge sharing, and knowledge transition initiatives.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA testing.
  
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM and SAP SD.
  
• Good understanding of: Procurement Processes, Inventory Management, Sales Order Processing, Pricing & Billing, Logistics Execution, Master Data Management
  
• Testing Expertise: Test Strategy and Planning, Test Management and Governance, SIT and E2E Testing, Regression Testing, UAT Coordination, Defect Management, Risk and Dependency Management, Test Metrics and Reporting
  
• Testing Tools: JIRA, HP ALM / Quality Center, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager
  
• Proven experience leading testing activities for large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programs.
  
• Experience managing testing across multiple teams, workstreams, and integration scenarios.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
