Role Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support business and operational decision-making
  
• Translate business requirements and reporting needs into effective Power BI solutions and data models
  
• Develop and optimise semantic models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
  
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based platforms
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs
  
• Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, performant, user-friendly, and aligned with reporting standards
  
• Implement appropriate data security, including role-based access and row-level security
  
• Troubleshoot data, refresh, performance, and reporting issues
  
• Support deployment, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of Power BI solutions
  
• Contribute to reporting standards, reusable components, documentation, and continuous improvement of BI practices
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence, data analytics, or similar roles
  
• Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
  
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query and data modelling
  
• Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation
  
• Experience integrating Power BI with multiple structured data sources
  
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling, relationships, measures, KPIs, and reporting best practices
  
• Experience with Power BI Service including workspaces, scheduled refreshes, gateways, access management, and deployment
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks is desirable
  
• Experience implementing row-level security and appropriate data governance controls
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
  
• Experience working within Agile or technology delivery environments
