SAP EWM Consultant

Requirements

• Provide L2/L3 application support for SAP EWM incidents, service requests, and production issues.
  
• Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely resolution in line with defined SLAs.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Assist with SAP transports, release coordination, and change management activities.
  
• Analyze warehouse operations and convert business needs into effective SAP EWM solutions.
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse workflows, improve productivity, and enhance automation.
  
• Work closely with warehouse, supply chain, and manufacturing stakeholders to address operational requirements.
  
• Provide functional guidance on warehouse management processes and logistics execution.
  
• Configure and support SAP EWM enhancements, system changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers and other technical teams.
  
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing to validate system changes.
  
• Ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements and operational standards.
  
• Support interfaces between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
  
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving:
  
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  
• Material Flow Control (MFC) systems
  
• Automated Mobile Robots (AMR)
  
• Warehouse automation and material handling systems
  
• Third-party logistics and transportation platforms
  
• Coordinate with integration teams and external partners to ensure reliable data exchange and end-to-end process execution.
  
• Develop and update functional documentation, standard operating procedures, and support guides.
  
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions for business users and application support teams.
  
• Assist in knowledge transfer and transition from implementation projects to ongoing AMS support.
  
• Maintain support documentation and troubleshooting procedures for recurring issues.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve SAP EWM support processes through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  
• Contribute to warehouse optimization, system performance improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  
• Support AMS process improvements and service delivery transformation.
  
• Recommend best practices to enhance system stability, support quality, and warehouse productivity.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  
• Experience in SAP application maintenance and support, including L2/L3 incident and problem management.
  
• Good understanding of warehouse management, logistics execution, and supply chain processes.
  
• Experience with SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
  
• Knowledge of warehouse automation and interfaces with peripheral systems.
  
• Experience in functional configuration, enhancements, testing, and change management.
  
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues within SLA timelines.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  
• Experience in manufacturing, robotics, or automated warehouse environments would be an advantage
