Network Engineer- Exchange site transformation

Must Have Skills:

• Strong experience in Microsoft Exchange Server administration, Exchange Site Transformation, and messaging infrastructure migration projects.
• Hands-on expertise with Exchange Server 2016/2019, Exchange Online, Office 365, and hybrid environments. Proven experience in mailbox migrations, site consolidations, tenant-to-tenant migrations, coexistence management, and Exchange infrastructure modernization.
• Deep understanding of mail flow, SMTP, DNS, Active Directory integration, DAG (Database Availability Group), load balancing, and high-availability configurations.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex mail delivery, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration, automation, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and project execution skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure services, and hybrid identity solutions.
• Knowledge of Exchange security technologies including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, email security gateways, anti-spam, anti-malware, and compliance solutions.
• Experience with migration tools such as Quest, Binary Tree, or Microsoft migration tools. Exposure to Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and broader Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, automation tools, and cloud transformation initiatives. Experience working in large-scale global enterprise environments is preferred.

Detailed Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer - Exchange Site Transformation to support enterprise messaging transformation and modernization initiatives.
• The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting Exchange infrastructure transformation projects, including data center migrations, site consolidations, Exchange upgrades, hybrid deployments, and cloud migration programs.
• The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Active Directory, mail flow architecture, high-availability solutions, and messaging security technologies.
• The engineer will work closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and business teams to ensure seamless migration of messaging services while minimizing business disruption and maintaining service availability.
