IT Business Analyst

• Key Responsibilities:
  Understand and analyze business requirements, processes, and client needs.
• Conduct discussions with clients and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
  
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
  
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
  
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Create and maintain Jira/Agile backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement documentation.
  
• Analyze business and application data using SQL queries to support requirement validation and business analysis.
  
• Write basic to intermediate SQL queries using SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, aggregate functions, and sub queries.
  
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between application screens, reports, and database records.
  
• Identify data inconsistencies, missing records, duplicate data, and data-quality issues.
  
• Work with technical teams to understand database structures, tables, relationships, and data flows relevant to the business requirements.
  
• Support data migration and data validation activities where required.
  
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential process improvements.
  
• Support QA teams in understanding requirements and validating developed features.
  
• Participate in UAT, defect discussions, issue tracking, and resolution coordination.
  
• Prepare project status updates and communicate project progress, requirements, and open issues to stakeholders.
  
• Ensure requirements are properly documented, tracked, and aligned with client expectations.
  
  
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / IT Business Analyst.
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
  
• Experience in Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Documentation, and Validation.
  
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
  
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
  
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
  
• Good working knowledge of SQL.
  

Preferred Candidate (as per Client requirement)

• Candidates who have graduated from IITs/IIMs
  
• North Indian candidates only, as per client requirement.
  
• Strong proficiency in Hindi and English is required.
  
• Candidates should be comfortable communicating with North Indian clients/stakeholders.
