Front of House – Klaserie, Mpumalanga

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and guest-focused Front of House candidate to join a luxury safari lodge in the Klaserie. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for guest relations, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of luxury service standards. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and an exceptional safari experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests on arrival and ensure a warm, personalised and professional reception.
  

• Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs and general front-of-house duties.
  

• Manage guest enquiries, requests and feedback efficiently and professionally.
  

• Maintain excellent communication with housekeeping, kitchen, guiding and management teams.
  

• Coordinate daily guest activities and assist with ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  

• Ensure all guest-facing areas are presented to the highest standards.
  

• Assist with meal service, hosting and other guest-related duties where required.
  

• Communicate special requests, dietary requirements and guest preferences to the relevant departments.
  

• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  

• Assist with general administrative duties and maintain accurate guest information.
  

• Uphold the lodge's luxury service standards and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing role within a luxury lodge, hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
  

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  

• A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality.
  

• The ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  

• A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to assist across departments.
  

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required.
  

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
  

• Knowledge of lodge operations and safari hospitality would be advantageous.
  

Salary: Market-related, depending on experience.
