We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, data architecture, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable data systems supporting analytics, data science, and digital applications.

What You'll Do:

🎯 Design, build, and operate scalable data architectures and pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving data.

💻 Develop robust data models and reusable data capabilities for applications, analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers.

⚙️ Build reliable, secure, observable, high-performance, and maintainable data systems.

🏗️ Evaluate technologies and architectural approaches and contribute to data architecture and engineering standards.

🔄 Implement modern software engineering practices including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.

🤝 Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, analysts, and business users.

👨‍💻 Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For:

✅ Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in Python and SQL.

✅ Strong experience in data engineering and enterprise data architecture.

✅ Experience designing and developing data pipelines and data models.

✅ Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.

✅ Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

✅ Experience with modern data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or equivalent.

✅ Experience with data orchestration, transformation, and modelling tools.

✅ Strong understanding of production engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, and data quality.

Good to Have:

⭐ Experience with Apache Airflow or equivalent workflow orchestration tools.

⭐ Experience with dbt or equivalent transformation and analytics engineering frameworks.

⭐ Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.

⭐ Strong experience with AWS data services and cloud infrastructure.

⭐ Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI and analytics tools.

⭐ Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, data observability, metadata, data catalogue, or data lineage.

⭐ Experience working with sensitive or regulated data.
