Software Developer

We are currently seeking a full-time Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain software solutions throughout their full lifecycle while directly collaborating with customers to gather requirements, train users, and deliver ongoing technical support. The hours will typically be in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base salary: $65,000 - $75,000 / year
Location: 45 Innovation Dr, Hamilton, ON L9H 7L8

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Work directly with customers to define requirements, train and support end users
  
• Communicate ideas effectively with other developers during planning sessions and code reviews
  
• Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions from start to finish
  
• Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases
  
• Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis

Key Experience/Education:

• 1 to 2 years experience preferred
  
• Experience with C++, Visual Studio .NET, C#, XML is required
  
• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Science degree is required
  
• Experience with Windows/Linux Embedded, Real Time Systems, and Multi-Threaded Architecture is an asset
  
• Awareness of ISO 9001
