About the Role
Telvoip Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team.
The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and financial planning. The position will also provide financial insights to support effective decision-making, operational efficiency and Telvoip Limited’s continued growth in the SaaS/VoIP sector.
Key Responsibilities
● Financial Accounting & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, process and reconcile transactions, manage payables and receivables, and prepare financial reports.
● Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory taxes and compliance with financial regulations, IFRS and internal controls.
● Audit & Stakeholder Management: Support internal and external audits and liaise with auditors, KRA, banks, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
● Financial Planning & Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, variance analysis and financial modelling.
● Business & Operational Support: Provide financial insights to management, monitor subscriptions and vendor obligations, track financial KPIs, and support procurement and business decision-making.
● Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Strong accounting, financial controls and compliance knowledge.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide useful business insights.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work independently, take ownership and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Finance, Management and other departments.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.- 3+ years' experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- CPA or ACCA qualification, completed or in progress, is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in SaaS, telecommunications, fintech or subscription-based businesses is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or similar platforms. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
