DEVOPS ENGINEER

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to spearhead the optimization and reliability of our IT service infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless deployment pipelines and robust cloud environments. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in automation and cloud technologies to drive efficiency, enhance system scalability, and maintain high availability across our Linux-based networks. This position is critical for accelerating our delivery lifecycle and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process and reduce time-to-market.
  
• Develop and deploy complex automation scripts using Python to manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
  
• Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  
• Write and optimize Shell and Bash scripts to automate routine system administration tasks and monitor system health.
  
• Manage Linux server environments, including patching, security hardening, and performance tuning.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues, resolve deployment bottlenecks, and ensure system stability.
  
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential infrastructure failures.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar technical role.
  
• Proven expertise in designing and managing CI/CD tools and workflows within an IT Services environment.
  
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting purposes.
  
• Solid command of Shell/Bash scripting for system administration and task automation.
  
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking solutions.
  
• Extensive experience working with Linux operating systems and understanding of core networking protocols.
  
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
