Requirements:

• MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/MD in General Surgery)
  
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and a valid license to practice
  
• Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in common general surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections
  
• Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills under pressure
  
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues
  
• Willingness to be on call and participate in emergency surgical duties as required
