Registered Nurse - Daytona, OH

Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a primary care or specialty clinic setting within a Veterans Affairs healthcare facility, supports the Primary Care department, follows facility policies, maintains required credentials, and serves Veterans.  This is not a VA federal employee position and does not include VA employee benefits.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in primary care or specialty clinic settings.
  
  
• Perform nursing duties as designated by the Primary Care department Chief.
  
  
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and break policies.
  
  
• Maintain required certifications and license.
  
  
• Follow applicable facility procedures and patient-care standards.
  

Contract Dates:

October 19, 2026–October 18, 2027

Work Schedule:

Work hours scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

Requirements

Requirement:

• Associate degree or higher.
  
  
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
  
  
• At least one year of recent patient-care experience, as stated in the source overview.
  
  
• At least one valid listed certification or credential from the source: American Heart Association Basic
  Life Support (AHA BLS), AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS),
  American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS), or Advanced Certification in Continuity of
  Care (A-CCC). Candidates should confirm which certification applies before applying.
  
  
• Ability to work onsite in Dayton and maintain reliable attendance.
