Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist / Milling Operator for a flexible, part-time position at our Woodbridge, ON facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating small CNC milling equipment and working directly with G-code programming to manufacture precise components.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate small CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  

• G-Code Programming: Write, review, edit, and optimize G-code programs for small CNC milling operations.
  

• Control Systems: Utilize PathPilot control software (or similar CNC interfaces) to run jobs, monitor toolpaths, and make necessary offsets.
  

• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure strict adherence to tolerances and design specifications.
  

• Maintenance & Setup: Perform routine tool changes, stock loading, and basic preventative maintenance on the machinery.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Hands-on experience operating small-scale CNC milling machines.
  

• G-Code Proficiency: Strong understanding of manual G-code programming, editing, and troubleshooting.
  

• Equipment Knowledge: Prior experience with Tormach CNC machines and PathPilot control software is strongly preferred.
  

• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including after-hours or weekends.
  

• Precision & Detail: High attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and good problem-solving skills.
  

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
