Job Description

OneSource Employment Solutions is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hospitality staffing team at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and designated common areas.
  

• Make beds, replace linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities.
  

• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces according to established cleaning standards.
  

• Remove trash and maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply areas.
  

• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines.
  

• Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards.
  

• Properly handle cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
  

• Respond professionally to guest requests and changing operational priorities.
  

• Work collaboratively with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel staff.
  

• Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel cleaning, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests.
  

• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and operational needs.
  

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  

• Positive attitude and professional work ethic.
  

• Willingness to follow established safety and housekeeping procedures.
  

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

• Extended periods of standing and walking.
  

• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  

• Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
  

• Pushing housekeeping carts and operating standard cleaning equipment.
  

• Wearing required uniforms and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
