Senior Support Worker

Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
Annual Salary: £28,080–£37,440

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior Support Workers to provide person-centred care, guide frontline staff, and maintain high standards of safety, dignity, and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and assist with daily living and personal care, where required.
  

• Support and guide frontline Support Workers in their daily duties.
  

• Coordinate daily activities and ensure continuity of care.
  

• Monitor individuals’ wellbeing and report changes or concerns promptly.
  

• Maintain accurate care records, reports, and documentation.
  

• Promote safeguarding, dignity, confidentiality, and compliance with health and safety policies.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support worker role.
  

• Experience guiding or supporting other staff is desirable.
  

• Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and confidentiality.
  

• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  

• Ability to handle challenging situations responsibly and escalate concerns appropriately.
  

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualifications are desirable; willingness to complete mandatory training is essential.
