E ARE HIRING: HR OFFICER (RESTAURANT)

Our Client, a growing food business is seeking to hire a female HR Officer to drive the HR function of the business.

Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos (Applicants must stay on the island or within the environs)
Gender: Female
Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: ₦250,000 net monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of kitchen and front-of-house staff
  
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance and leave tracking
  
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and liaise on statutory deductions (PAYE, Pension, NHF)
  
• Enforce company policies, handle staff discipline and grievances fairly
  
• Coordinate staff training, including food hygiene and safety compliance
  
• Support performance appraisal and staff welfare initiatives
  
• Advise management on HR matters and staff relations
  

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field
  
• 3–5 years’ HR experience, ideally in hospitality, food service or an SME
  
• Good knowledge of Nigerian labour practices
  
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and record-keeping skills
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  
• Fluency in Yoruba is an added advantage
  
• Must reside in or around the Island.
