SAP ILM Consultant

Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ILM Consultant to lead the strategic implementation and management of Information Lifecycle Management within our IT Services division. In this pivotal role, you will leverage over seven years of specialized expertise to optimize data governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance system performance through advanced archiving and retention strategies. Your work will be critical in aligning data management practices with organizational goals, ensuring the efficient handling of data from creation to disposal while maintaining the integrity of our SAP HANA environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and configure SAP ILM solutions alongside OpenText, SAP IQ, and Content Server platforms to meet complex business data retention needs.
  
• Execute comprehensive performance tuning initiatives for HANA databases to ensure optimal speed and reliability during data processing and archiving operations.
  
• Design and oversee the full lifecycle of data management processes, including Write, Delete, Store, and Reload procedures for various archiving objects.
  
• Conduct rigorous archive validation and reconciliation activities to guarantee data accuracy and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  
• Lead project initiatives involving stakeholder engagement to define scope, manage expectations, and drive the successful delivery of ILM projects.
  
• Develop and maintain detailed configurations for archiving objects, ensuring they align with specific business rules and technical constraints.
  
• Utilize SAP ABAP development skills to create custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces that support ILM functionality.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within the IT Services sector, with a strong focus on SAP solutions.
  
• Proven proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for creating custom logic and interfaces.
  
• Deep understanding of OpenText, SAP IQ, and SAP Content Server technologies.
  
• Solid grasp of HANA Database concepts, including architecture and optimization techniques.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
  
• Hands-on experience with Archive Validation, Reconciliation, and the configuration of Archiving Objects.
  
• Ability to manage end-to-end Write, Delete, Store, and Reload processes for data lifecycle management.
  
• Strong background in Project Management and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
