SAP PP Consultant

Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to lead the strategic planning and execution of production processes within a discrete manufacturing environment. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing Production Planning & Control (PP) modules while ensuring seamless integration with broader enterprise systems including Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Financial Accounting/Controlling (FI/CO). The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical capabilities and problem-solving expertise to drive efficiency, while also exploring the transformative potential of AI copilots and AI-assisted methodologies for testing and documentation. This position is critical for bridging the gap between digital planning tools and physical shop-floor operations through effective Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage end-to-end Production Planning and Control workflows tailored for discrete manufacturing scenarios.
  
• Facilitate deep integration between SAP PP and cross-functional modules such as MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO to ensure data consistency and process alignment.
  
• Design and implement solutions that connect SAP environments with MES platforms to synchronize shop-floor activities with central planning systems.
  
• Develop and execute capacity planning and scheduling strategies that maximize resource utilization and meet production targets.
  
• Utilize AI-driven tools and copilots to streamline system testing protocols and enhance the quality of technical documentation.
  
• Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose complex production bottlenecks and deliver data-backed solutions for continuous improvement.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a professional work experience of 4-6 years within the IT Services sector, specifically focusing on SAP implementations.
  
• Demonstrate proven expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning & Control) with a strong background in discrete manufacturing environments.
  
• Show advanced proficiency in integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO modules.
  
• Have hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop-floor integration projects.
  
• Display a strong aptitude for analytical thinking and complex problem-solving in a dynamic technical landscape.
  
• Be familiar with emerging technologies, specifically the application of AI copilots and AI-assisted methods for testing and documentation.
