Maintenance Service Crew

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Service Crew member to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of roads and associated infrastructure by carrying out routine, reactive, and emergency maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pothole repairs and general road maintenance to maintain safe and serviceable road conditions.
  

• Inspect, install, repair, and replace road signs, guideposts, and roadside safety devices.
  

• Collect and dispose of litter, debris, and other roadside hazards.
  

• Perform roadside vegetation management to maintain visibility and protect road infrastructure.
  

• Remove graffiti from public assets and maintain clean and presentable public areas.
  

• Assist with traffic management activities, including setting up and removing traffic control signs, barriers, and equipment.
  

• Support emergency and incident response activities, including road closures, debris clearance, and hazard management.
  

• Safely operate plant, equipment, and hand tools in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
  

• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  

• Perform other general road maintenance and construction duties as required.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction, or a similar maintenance role.
  

• Knowledge of road maintenance activities and safe work practices.
  

• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
  

• Ability to operate plant, equipment, and tools safely.
  

• White Card.
  

• HR/HC Driver’s Licence.
  

• Skid Steer Licence/Experience.
  

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs when required.
  

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
  

• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
