Lodge Attendant – Luxury Safari Lodge | Grahamstown, EC

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and service-focused Lodge Attendant to join a luxury safari lodge in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. This live-in opportunity is suited to an energetic and hardworking hospitality professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Position details:

• Salary: R7,500 – R8,000 per month
  

• Accommodation: Live-in
  

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily operations of the lodge and ensure all guest areas are maintained to a high standard.
  

• Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to guests throughout their stay.
  

• Assist with housekeeping duties and ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, neat and well presented.
  

• Assist with meal service, table setting and clearing when required.
  

• Support the lodge team with general duties to ensure the smooth running of the property.
  

• Assist with guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
  

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
  

• Ensure guest amenities and supplies are adequately stocked.
  

• Work closely with other departments to ensure guest requirements are met efficiently.
  

• Assist with maintaining a welcoming and professional environment throughout the lodge.
  

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality or lodge experience would be advantageous.
  

• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of guest service.
  

• Friendly, professional and approachable personality.
  

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Reliable, hardworking and willing to assist across different areas of the lodge.
  

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  

• Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
  

• Physically fit and comfortable with the demands of a hands-on lodge environment.
  

• Candidates must be comfortable with a live-in position.
