Data Migration Specialist

We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist with 3+ years of experience in data migration, system integration, and backend data transfer. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and handling data across different systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute data migration and data transfer between different systems and platforms.
• Design and maintain system integrations using APIs and other integration methods.
• Work with backend teams to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient data movement.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation during migrations.
• Troubleshoot integration and data-transfer issues and ensure smooth system-to-system communication.
• Coordinate with technical teams to understand data structures, requirements, and integration workflows.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
• Document migration processes, integration workflows, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Migration, System Integration, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, including Smartsheet API, integrations, automation, data synchronization, and transferring data between Smartsheet and other business systems, will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of backend concepts and data transfer processes.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST APIs, JSON, etc.).
• Experience working with databases, data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Good understanding of system-to-system integrations and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
