With a global presence across 19 countries, our clients are the world's leading textiles business specializing in all facets of fabrics and textiles design and technology associated with mattresses and sleep fabrics.

We are looking for a machine operator who can use or can be trained up in using and maintaining Dornier knitting and Stent machines.

Key responsibilities:

• Dornier machine setup: Programming and configuring looms for new design setups
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitoring tension, repairing and maintaining looms to reduce downtime
• Quality control: Ensuring fabric meets standards for width, pick rate and yarn specifications
• Pattern adjustments: Preparing mechanisms for specific fabrics and adjusting for optimal weaving
• General maintenance on machines

Requirements

Key requirements:

• LF Forklift license
  
• Must have mechanical aptitude - will train up the right candidate
  
• Maintenance and machine experience with a high attention to detail
  
• Good communicator who can work in a small team
  
• OH&S compliant
