Application Support Engineer

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our critical software applications. You will act as a key liaison between technical operations and business stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in Java and Python to troubleshoot complex issues, automate routine tasks, and manage the full lifecycle of application administration, incidents, problems, and changes. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining high service levels and driving continuous improvement within our support framework.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive application administration tasks to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
  
• Lead the resolution of incidents, problems, and change requests following established ITIL best practices.
  
• Develop and maintain custom Application Management Services (AMS) solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Design and implement automation scripts using Python and Java to streamline support processes and reduce manual intervention.
  
• Perform deep-dive debugging and root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical anomalies promptly.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate smooth deployment and maintenance cycles.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in application support within the IT Services sector.
  
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java and Python programming, with a focus on scripting and automation.
  
• Show proven expertise in managing custom AMS environments and handling application administration duties.
  
• Exhibit solid knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management frameworks and methodologies.
  
• Display advanced debugging capabilities with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
  
• Be prepared to operate within a salary range of ₹13-14 lpa.
