About the company:

With a global presence across 19 countries, our clients are a the world's leading textiles business specializing in all facets of fabrics and textiles design and technology associated with mattresses and sleep fabrics.

We are looking for a factory hand who has some general factory/manufacturing experience and more importantly some mechanical aptitude. The role is operating and maintaining stent machines that add and heat color to textiles/materials, so some mechanical know how is highly advantageous in learning how to perform maintenance on these machines.
The role will start as casual moving to permanent.

Key responsibilities:

• Operating Stent machines that add and heat color to textile materials - Full training provided
• Maintaining Chemical/color inventory
  
• Maintaining machines
• Packing stock and batching
  
• Moving stock with forklift(if licensed)

Requirements

Key requirements:

• Mechanically minded
• General factory and/or manufacturing experience
  
• Machine operation experience with a high attention to detail
  
• Good communicator who can work in a small team
  
• Forklift license ( Highly regarded but not essential )
