Our client is a leading global technology services provider delivering innovative solutions across cloud, connectivity, collaboration, and security for enterprise organizations worldwide. 

They are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect – Physical Security for a full-time opportunity in Los Angeles, CA metro area, 50 m radius or on-site – Tempe, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a physical security professional who enjoys being at the intersection of technology, solution design and client strategy.

You’ll work directly with Account Executives and enterprise clients to design integrated physical security solutions spanning video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and connected devices. You’ll take client requirements and turn them into technically sound, scalable solutions—and help demonstrate why those solutions are the right fit.

In this role you will design the solution, communicate it to the client and support the technical side of the sales process.


What You’ll Do

• Design integrated enterprise physical security solutions, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and IoT-connected devices
  
• Partner with Account Executives throughout the pre-sales process
  
• Meet with clients to understand business, security and technical requirements
  
• Conduct site assessments and technical surveys
  
• Develop solution designs, configurations and implementation recommendations
  
• Create accurate technical proposals
  
• Lead client proofs of concept and product demonstrations
  
• Translate complex technical concepts into solutions clients can easily understand
  
• Work with vendor and manufacturer teams
  
• Collaborate with delivery teams to help ensure successful implementation
  
• Support large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments
  
• Provide solution and product training to sales teams and clients
  
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other team members
  

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of technical pre-sales experience
  
• Strong experience with enterprise physical security systems
  
• Knowledge of:
  

o Video surveillance
o Access control
o Intrusion detection
o Connected/IoT security devices

• Experience designing and delivering integrated technology solutions
  
• Experience supporting large-scale and multi-site enterprise deployments
  
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching
  
• Familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and integrated building technologies
  
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  
• Experience working with IT, facilities and security stakeholders
  
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  
• Ability to travel nationally to meet with clients
  
• Verkada Certifications
  

The position calls for the following certifications:

• Verkada Certified Engineer (VCE)
  
• VCE – Access Control Specialist
  
• VCE – Video Security Specialist
  
• VCE – Alarms Specialist
  

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Technology or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.


Compensation

• $147,540–$186,791 base salary + commission
