Seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Human Services specialist to join a team dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and well-being of vulnerable populations in child residential, child day treatment, and mental health programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the quality of care provided across a wide range of facilities by ensuring they meet and maintain compliance with state laws and regulations. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as you will be responsible for reviewing medical, legal, and programmatic documentation, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports that support enforcement actions and licensing decisions. You will also monitor corrective action plans and ensure that identified deficiencies are addressed effectively. This combination of investigative work and documentation makes the position both intellectually engaging and professionally rewarding.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a background in health or human services, such as nursing, social work, psychology, or a related field, along with relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to carry out inspections, investigations, and regulatory analysis. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively are required, as is the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
