Quality Control Roving Inspector

This is an onsite role open to candidates in Pennsylvania.
Shifts: 1st (7:00am-3:30pm), 2nd (3:00pm-11:30pm)

A precision, quality-driven, regulated manufacturer with a medical device focus is looking for a Quality control roving inspector to perform in-process and final inspections across multiple machining cells, acting as a floor-level quality resource for machinists and inspectors in a regulated medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections across machining cells
  
• Support machinists and production teams with quality questions
  
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, comparators, and other precision tools
  
• Identify and document nonconformances
  
• Support corrective actions and quality improvements
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality experience in precision machining
  
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T
  
• In-process and final inspection experience
  
• Calipers, micrometers, and comparators
  
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Preferred: CNC or Swiss background, NCR and corrective action experience, mentoring inspectors, quality certifications (CQT, CQI, Six Sigma)
