POSITION SUMMARY
Position is in-office (Ketchum, ID or Enterprise, OR), with hybrid work assignment potential. Only individuals eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship will be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, organize, and review client financial records and tax documentation.
- Prepare tax workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation for individual, business, trust, and fiduciary returns.
- Support preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns under senior team supervision.
- Conduct basic tax research and summarize findings for review.
- Verify data accuracy, maintain organized client files, and follow firm documentation standards.
- Respond to routine client information requests and tax-related inquiries.
- Support tax planning, advisory engagements, special projects, and process improvements.
- Track deadline and help ensure timely completion of client engagements.
- Participate in training, professional development, and ongoing technical education.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Internship or prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial services, or a related field.
- Coursework in taxation, accounting, or business law.
- Experience with tax preparation software, accounting software, or cloud-based business application.
- Intention to pursue EA, CPA, or other professional credentials.
- Experience working in a client service environment.
