About the Opportunity

We are recruiting for an AV Onsite Service Technician to join a highly respected global audio-visual systems
integration company specializing in the design, engineering, installation, and support of sophisticated AV
technology solutions.

Based onsite at a customer location in Salt Lake City, Utah, you will provide day-to-day service and
technical support for professional AV systems, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, video
conferencing, equipment testing, and occasional live-event support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working with
advanced technology, and providing outstanding customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite service and support for professional AV systems
  
• Perform system start-up, operational checks, and preventive maintenance
  
• Troubleshoot AV hardware, software, signal, and connectivity issues
  
• Support professional audio, video, projection, displays, and control systems
  
• Support video conferencing and collaboration platforms
  
• Assist with AV installations, equipment replacements, and system upgrades
  
• Use AV tools and test equipment to diagnose technical issues
  
• Review system documentation, drawings, and schematics
  
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers when additional support is required
  
• Provide occasional live-event support and client training
  
• Document service activities and technical issues
  

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an AV service, support, installation, or operational environment
  
• Knowledge of professional AV systems, components, cabling, and signal flow
  
• Experience with AV control technologies such as Crestron, Extron, AMX, Barco, Cisco, or similar
  
• Familiarity with DSP/audio technologies such as QSC, Biamp, Dante/Audinate, ClearOne, or similar
  
• Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Cisco, or Poly
  
• Understanding of networked AV and basic network architecture
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
• Strong PC and/or Mac computer skills
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment
  

Certifications

• AVIXA Technologist or CTS certification preferred, or willingness to obtain applicable certification after
  

hire

Education

• Technical degree or related education is a plus
  

You do not need experience with every technology listed. We are looking for candidates with a solid
AV foundation, strong troubleshooting skills, and the desire to continue learning and growing.

Work Location & Schedule

This is a full-time onsite position in Salt Lake City, Utah at a customer location. Occasional weekend or after-
hours support and limited travel for training, site work, or team meetings may be required.
