Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide pathology coverage including reading pathology slides and issuing diagnostic reports.
  
• Oversee grossing and processing of specimens with assistance from histotech and PA.
  
• Perform weekday clinical duties Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  
• Participate in weekend call coverage every other weekend, responding to beeper as needed.
  
• Ensure timely turnaround of pathology results to prevent delays.
