Care Worker - URGENT START

Bradnet is a CQC-registered care provider rated Good, based in Bradford.  We've been supporting local people for years, delivering personal care in people's own homes, supported living and adult day activities across Bradford.

The role

As a Care Worker you'll visit people in their own homes and help them live safely, comfortably and independently. No two days are the same. You'll build real relationships with the people you support and make a difference to their day.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and continence care
  
• Support with meals, drinks and light household tasks
  
• Prompt and administer medication in line with care plans and training
  
• Help people get out and about, stay connected and take part in their community
  
• Record visits and notes accurately on our electronic care planning app
  
• Spot changes in someone's health or wellbeing and report them to the office
  
• Follow safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures
  
• Treat everyone with dignity and respect, and support their choices
  

Full training and support will be provided.

Requirements

Requirements

Essential

• A caring, patient and reliable nature
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow a care plan
  
• Right to work in the UK
  
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (we'll arrange this)
  
• Willingness to undertake training
  
  

Desirable

• Previous experience in care (paid or unpaid, including caring for a family member)
  

No experience? No problem. If you have the right attitude, we'll give you all the training you need.
