Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Close Execution: Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- General Ledger & Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Audit & Compliance: Support annual external audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and maintain robust internal controls.
- FP&A Collaboration: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Variance & Performance Analysis: Analyze monthly financial results, production variances, and key operational metrics to guide decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Utilize ERP systems and data analysis to streamline accounting workflows, enhance reporting efficiency, and strengthen policies.
- Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate with plant operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and subsidiary teams to support broader financial objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience strictly within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling).
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or MBA preferred.
- Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, or plant financial analysis.
