Are you passionate about research, data and making a difference?

Herts SU is looking for an Insight Coordinator to help us better understand what matters to our students and use that insight to shape the work we do.

You’ll play a key role in turning data into meaningful insight and practical recommendations. From designing surveys and focus groups to analysing engagement data and creating compelling reports and dashboards, you’ll help influence decision-making and improve the student experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyse student engagement, participation and feedback data to identify trends and opportunities
• Design and deliver research using surveys, focus groups, interviews and consultations
• Create clear reports, dashboards and data visualisations
• Turn research and evidence into practical recommendations
• Support the evaluation of projects and initiatives across Herts SU
• Work with colleagues, elected officers and other stakeholders to ensure student voices are heard

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical and student-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to turn complex information into something people can understand and act on.

Experience with data visualisation, research, reporting, policy or Students’ Unions would be great, but what matters most is your ability to work collaboratively, solve problems and make a genuine difference.
