About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Associate to help shape and tell stories from the world of startups, founders, technology, and venture capital.

This is not a traditional B2B content marketing role. We’re looking for someone with strong editorial instincts who is genuinely curious about startups, investing, technology, business, and culture — and can turn those ideas into thoughtful content across formats.

You should be equally comfortable developing a long-form article, researching a founder story, scripting a video, or thinking through how a piece of content should be distributed and repurposed across channels.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of content experience, with prior exposure to Venture Capital or Private Equity strongly preferred.

What You’ll Own

You will work across the content lifecycle — from identifying ideas and developing the editorial angle to production, distribution, and performance analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Editorial & Content Strategy: Identify relevant themes across venture capital, startups, technology, founders, markets, and culture and translate them into compelling content ideas.
  

• Long-form Content: Research, write, and edit high-quality articles, perspectives, founder stories, ecosystem pieces, and other editorial content.
  

• Video Content & Scripting: Develop concepts, narratives, interview structures, and scripts for short- and long-form video content.
  

• Founder & Portfolio Stories: Work with founders and internal teams to uncover interesting stories and turn them into content that goes beyond standard company announcements.
  

• Content Distribution: Build distribution strategies across relevant channels and determine how one strong idea can be adapted across formats and platforms.
  

• Content Performance: Track content performance, identify what resonates with founder and startup audiences, and use those insights to improve future content.
  

• End-to-End Ownership: Take content initiatives from an initial idea through research, production, editing, publishing, distribution, and measurement.
  

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

• 2–3 years of experience in content marketing, editorial content, brand content, media, or a related role.
  

• A strong portfolio demonstrating deep editorial work across both written and video content.
  

• Excellent writing, editing, research, and storytelling skills.
  

• Experience developing long-form content, not just social media posts or performance marketing copy.
  

• Experience writing or developing video scripts and narratives.
  

• Understanding of content distribution and how content needs to change across formats and channels.
  

• Ability to independently own content projects from idea to execution.
  

• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to simplify complex ideas without making them generic.
  

• Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, founders, technology, business, and culture.
  

Strongly preferred

• Previous experience working within Venture Capital or Private Equity, or creating substantial content specifically for the VC/startup ecosystem.
  

• Experience working with investors, founders, portfolio companies, or startup ecosystem stakeholders.
  

• Familiarity with the types of conversations, trends, and ideas that matter to founders and early-stage investors.
