Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator

A Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator continuously monitors and analyzes real-time security data from various surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, access control points, and alarm systems, to detect potential threats, respond to incidents promptly, and coordinate security personnel on-site to maintain a safe environment within a site, often utilizing specialized software and communication tools to manage security operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages the scheduling of security, contingency security, and messenger at sites; manages the scheduling process to optimize operating results and to minimize avoidable overtime • Maintains site coverage at all times; tracks requests for time off to ensure site coverage; responds to emergency situations, call-offs, and absences

• Ensures that accurate timekeeping data is posted in WinTeam software; verifies billing and payroll reports and corrects discrepancies; interfaces with management to make corrections

• Responsible for managing duties of assigned employees, including setting up and managing weekly schedules, inputting timekeeping, tracking job openings on operations reports

• Coordinates scheduling changes with Management and Staff; serves as a liaison with management, and staff in resolving scheduling, billing and timekeeping issues

• Observe operations and make suggestions for improved efficiency as appropriate

• Other duties as assigned by Management
