Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)- Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Potosi, MO.

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)- Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Potosi, MO.
Contract Details
- M-F, 8 hr days- Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR. We do ask the therapists start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM / 35 GWW
- Start Date: 9/21/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Location: Potosi, MO
- Hourly Pay: $ 23.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 742.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 1432.00
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc. Under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assesses patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Provides consultation and to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the cognitive and/or physical disorders.
- Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
- Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
- Participate in facility and company required training, in-services and conferences.
- Able to work with supervising Occupational Therapist to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Able to supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
- Adherence to NBCOT / AOTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Active State Licensure/Registration when applicable.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 years of OTA experience
- Must have LTC or Rehab Experience
- Must have COTA license; State of Missouri or Compact Allowed
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
- Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.

- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
