Regional Events Manager
Remote with travel to London approximately 2 to 3 times per month
£38,000 | Fixed term contract 9 months +

A rare opportunity for a remote Events role! Our client is a long established and highly respected professional membership body, running hundreds of events across the UK every year. They’re looking for a Regional Events Manager on a 9 month initial contract, with the likely hood of being extended, to completely support their regional programme

You’ll own the whole event journey, from the first spark of an idea right through to the last guest heading home happy. These aren’t run of the mill networking drinks either. You’ll be creating events that bring together directors and senior leaders, so every detail matters.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning and delivering a programme of regional events from concept to completion
  • Managing venues, suppliers, budgets and logistics
  • Working closely with regional teams, speakers and members to create events people actually want to attend
  • Keeping an eye on feedback and attendance so each event is better than the last
  • Being the calm, organised one on the day when the projector decides to have a moment

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Solid UK experience planning and delivering events catered to a corporate audience.
  • Confidence dealing with senior people
  • Brilliant organisation and the ability to juggle several events at once without breaking a sweat
  • A creative streak and a genuine eye for detail
  • Happy to travel to London 2 to 3 times a month and to regional events as needed

Benefits

Why you’ll love it

  • Work from home with regular trips to a rather lovely London HQ
  • Remote working
  • 28 days holiday plus all of the bank holidays (inc. crs)
  • 8% employer pension contribution
  • Private medical insurance, life assurance and an Employee Assistance Programme
