Nanny for 2 children in San Antonio

A family in San Antonio is seeking an experienced, engaging full-time nanny for their two children. The ideal nanny will be creative, level-headed, and genuinely passionate about working with children. The children enjoy music, swimming, outdoor play, arts and crafts, gardening, imaginative play, and learning, so the family is looking for someone who is hands-on, energetic, and able to keep them engaged throughout the day. A strong swimmer is required, and the family is looking for a career nanny with extensive experience in fully managed households. The nanny should be attentive, limit phone use, respect the privacy of the home, and remain calm and nurturing during big emotions or stressful situations.

Responsibilities will include childcare, children’s laundry, meal prep and cooking for the children, occasional family meals, light housekeeping, keeping children’s areas tidy, unloading the dishwasher, stocking supplies, and assisting with errands. The parents handle discipline and want a nanny who uses patience, connection, redirection, and calm communication. The schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00/8:30 AM–5:00/5:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional schedule changes, travel, and overnight stays. The family will handle transportation initially, with the possibility of the nanny driving the children after the first year.
