This role supports the monthly billing cycle while also participating in ongoing operational initiatives, ad hoc projects, data analysis, and continuous process improvements. The Billing Analyst works closely with internal business partners to research complex billing issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and support evolving business needs. Success in this role requires curiosity, sound analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to the Director of Billing and collaborates closely with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and other internal teams.

·       Review invoices placed in exception or review status, research discrepancies, perform corrections, and ensure timely completion.

·       Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support Finance, Accounts Receivable, and operational business needs, including NSF reporting support.

·       Partner with the Accounts Receivable team by providing billing data and reporting.

·       Support ongoing operational initiatives, new business processes, and system enhancements as business needs evolve.

·       Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements that improve efficiency, billing accuracy, and internal controls.

·       Research operational and billing issues across multiple systems, identify trends, and recommend long-term solutions.

·       Respond to escalated billing inquiries received primarily through email from internal business partners and, when appropriate, external clients.

·       Maintain documentation of billing corrections, audit findings, procedures, and process improvements.

·       Effectively manage multiple assignments, changing priorities, and special projects while consistently meeting deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience

·       Minimum 2 years of billing, finance, accounting, revenue operations, or related analytical experience.

·       Ability to independently research issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

·       Strong analytical thinking with the ability to recognize anomalies and investigate discrepancies.

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and support new projects with minimal supervision.

·       Excellent organizational, written communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

·       Experience using AI tools effectively to improve productivity while maintaining quality and appropriate human oversight.

Preferred Experience
